We are also very happy to report a successful program held on Thursday, April 13, 2000 in Houston at the Texas Library Association Annual Conference.<\/p>\n
The program “Creating a CD-ROM from scratch” was well presented by George Teoh, Library Chair, Houston Community College-Northwest. George demonstrated how he used digital camera, scanners, VCRs, audio cassette recorders and computers with CD writers to create CD-ROMs. The audience had a great feedback on George’s presentation.<\/p>\n
After the program, people were lining up to have a discussion with George about his CD-ROMs. We would like to take this opportunity to thank George for a wonderful TLA program he delivered and his leadership & support in our chapter for the past few years.<\/p>\n
